SEEREN network deploys a complete network management system containing state of the art applications for the network administrators. Components include systems monitoring tools that correlate active and passive monitoring, unified graphical representation schemes, trouble ticket system e.t.c. The majority of the tools are installed in a centralized monitoring workstation, assisted by services hosted in the NOCs of other NRENs.

A plethora of basic and advanced user services/tools of special interest for the community that provide added-value to the network will be elaborated. Those services/tools and any other identified during the project timeframe will be assessed under the corresponding workpackage and whether technically feasible, will be developed/deployed. Finally the consortium will evaluate the performance and acceptance of the deployed services and tools.
