[31/10/2007] Round Table on Research and Education Networking in Bosnia and Herzegovina
The round table on research & education networking in Bosnia-Herzegovina will be held on 20 November 2007 in Sarajevo. This high-level event will focus on discussing the issues of research & education networking in Bosnia-Herzegovina and exploring viable options to address them. The meeting will be organized by the GÉANT2 Development Support Activity and the SEEREN2 project.

[23/02/2007] SEEREN2 signs MoU with PORTA OPTICA
A Memorandum of Understanding was signed between the SEEREN2 project and the PORTA OPTICA study. Porta Optica Study is a project co-funded by the European Commission as the Specific Support Activity ,with the ultimate goal of the stimulation and consolidation of initiatives to ensure the successful, dark-fiber based research network deployment in Eastern Europe, the Baltic States and Southern Caucasus regions. The expected cooperation will be in sharing the gained knowledge in the Dark Fibre deployments in the South East European region as well as in participating in other common liaison activities.

[16/01/2007] SEEREN2 signed MoU with BELIEF project
A synergy between the SEEREN2 and the BELIEF project has been enacted with a signed MoU that will guarantee the wide spread of the SEEREN2 public documentation through BELIEFs digital library. BELIEF is a FP6 project that aims to to facilitate knowledge-exchange on eInfrastructures through the development of a one-stop home for public eInfrastructure documentation.

[02/02/2006] INIMA established the SEEREN2 and SEE-GRID local websites
INIMA, the Albanian NREN has established the new local websites for the SEEREN2 and SEE-GRID projects. The websites provide information on the goals of the projects, as well as links to the website of the participating organisations and to the pan-european gigabit network GEANT.
